We'll start with a 60-minute strategy session (on Zoom) to learn about your business, your ideal clients and your goals. We'll work together to create your overall marketing message and even survey your existing clients when applicable.
We'll take all of the information from your initial strategy session and build your website into a sales machine that integrates with automated email marketing and social media to generate leads and bring in new clients. We'll work with you to create a library of articles to help establish your expertise.
We'll handle set up of any tech-y stuff including email marketing and a social media scheduler to create a system that markets even while you sleep. We'll collaborate with you to create all of your marketing content and handle all aspects of design.
Each month, we'll schedule a strategy call to go over analytics, answer questions, give guidance and support and discuss next steps. We'll adjust your plan to double down on what's working well and redirect if anything isn't having the impact we'd like to see. Most of all, we'll execute consistent marketing processes that work slowly and steadily to build your audience and nurture relationships.
Just like you, we are a very small business - not some big corporate agency. Reach out via email anytime you get stuck or have a question. Our top priority is the success of our members and we work with a very limited number of clients so we can be available to assist when needed.
• During your first 2 weeks with us (your Jump Start), we'll collect all of the necessary info about your business, have our first strategy call to go deep into your goals and create your messaging and determine the best way to establish your overall marketing message. This usually is done through data you may already have or through a client survey. Your final messaging includes who you help, what problem you solve for them, the services you provide/how they solve your clients problem, your expertise and experience (why you are the best option to solve their problem), consequences they might face if they don't work with you, what their life will look like when they do work with you, the benefits they'll experience from working with you, your empathy for their problem, and the transformation they'll experience from working with you. This is a psychological deep dive to determine exactly what potential clients need and want to hear to choose you.
• Once your messaging is established, we'll use it to create your new website and your lead magnet (something they can download from your website for a taste of what it's like to work with you to build trust and authority). We'll create a beautifully design website that showcases an elite level of professionalism and says all the right things to establish trust and authority. We'll set up your email marketing with at least 1 automated sequence (when they enter their email to get your lead magnet, this series of emails will be triggered to start sending automatically). We'll also audit your social media accounts (or set them up if needed) and connect them to our favorite social media management app.
• We'll go through a client experience audit together (on our initial strategy call) to make sure that once your amazing marketing takes affect and clients come to you, the experience they have creates stark-raving fans.
• We'll also audit your Google business listing to make sure it shows and tells everything people want to hear and more when they land on it from a local search. We'll add photos and updates if needed and double check that your details are accurate.
• Once your marketing infrastructure is in place, we'll handle every aspect of your monthly marketing to include a new blog post (an article to showcase your expertise and build SEO - help search engines find you - with lots of great keywords), 5+ social media posts per week written, design and posted for you, 4 emails per month written, designed and sent out for you, and a monthly Google business listing update. Depending on the type of business you have and the level or technicality of what you do, we may need some collaboration on creating your content (i.e. - pointing us toward the best sources or helping to write or outline technical information). This is somewhat common with professional services and we'll work with you to try to limit the time you spend collecting content.
• Each month, we'll have a 30 minute strategy call to go over your analytics in plain English and talk about what's working, what could be changed, any challenges you're having and plans for upcoming marketing. We reach out to you to remind you to schedule this each month. You also have the option to skip a month if too busy or to reach out any time between calls via email with questions or ideas.
• Because we work ahead 90 days, we require 90 days written notice to downgrade or cancel your membership. We are a small business like you and we are run by humans who care...so a simple email is all that is needed to cancel.
They say that marketing a small business takes a day to learn but a lifetime to master. Because, while many small business owners know a handful of marketing concepts, that's not enough to be effective. Because the truth is, most marketing doesn't fail in concept, it fails in execution.
But, if you try to market your business with random acts of marketing, you'll fail miserably. Additionally, if your marketing is a few trendy social posts per week, please know...this isn't a strategy. However, if you sell by sharing, educating, entertaining and serving - and most importantly, dialing in your message to tell them what they need to hear - you'll build an audience of stark raving fans who can't wait to do business with you.
Like everything else in your business that drives you to success, your marketing has to be a fine-tuned, customized system that you implement with the sole intent of growing your business. And, there are only 2 ways to grow your business:
